Kobuk

A village health aide in the Northwest Arctic community of Kobuk has been charged with multiple felonies, including enticement of a minor and possessing child sexual abuse material.

Weeks of rain have caused the Kobuk River and nearby lake to overflow, flooding the community of around 200 people about 150 miles east of Kotzebue.
